25 opportunities for Mid-South teens to volunteer

Summer is near and for those teens who’ve applied for the Tennessee Promise scholarship, you must complete your first 8 hours of community service by August 1. Get a head-start with these opportunities in your own backyard. First time to volunteer? If you’ve never volunteered through Volunteer Memphis, register and complete the new volunteer orientation online at http://www.volunteermemphis.org. Click on the Become a Member tab to register. Then, click on the new volunteer orientation link on the home page.
